I remember Summer 2003 when Reno 911! premiered. I watched the first episode and scrutinized it thoroughly, I even remember saying it had 10 episodes before it would be canceled on a now defunct Dream Theater message board.
By the end of the first season, I turned my opinion around and began to enjoy the show, and even a developed a crush on Trudy Weigel. I can't explain it.
On August 13th at 4:32, Reno 911! was pronounced canceled according to Thomas Lennon's Twitter Update.
It is truly unfortunate for a TV show as original and out-there as Reno 911! to fall prey to cancellation. The last season did not include several cast members, and included poor replacements. Unlike My Name is Earl's pre-mature cancellation, perhaps it is better the put a dog down before it suffers, perhaps this was the case.
